'Soon' Artwork Final

Letter about the final artwork...

Hello lovely backers,

Wow, what a whirlwind it’s been! First and foremost, I wanted to extend a massive thank you to each and every one of you for your enthusiastic participation in the artwork voting process for the track “Soon.” Your engagement and support mean the world to me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for your involvement.

Now, onto some exciting news! We received the music video for “Soon” last night, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely magical. After much deliberation and consideration, we’ve decided to take a slightly different route with the artwork. Instead of using any of the options we voted on, we’ve opted for a still from the video itself.

But fear not, dear backers! Your efforts in voting for the artwork certainly won’t go to waste. We’ve earmarked the winning designs for another track release later this year, so stay tuned for that!

In the meantime, I’m thrilled to announce that the next track is now available for pre-order! You can pre-save it right now by clicking here. Your support means the world to me, and I can’t wait to share more music with you all very soon.

Sending you all heaps of love and gratitude,

Saskia ❤️

P.s. you can attend the London launch of ‘Soon’ on 30th March – last few tickets available here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/saskia-griffiths-moore-soon-single-launch-london-tickets-774297533767?aff=oddtdtcreator

Imagination Baby

Saskia Griffiths-Moore Announces Upcoming Release of New Single, ‘Imagination Baby’ – Coming February 24th, 2024

London, UK – February 24th, 2024 – Folk music sensation Saskia Griffiths-Moore is thrilled to announce the forthcoming release of her latest single, ‘Imagination Baby,’ set to drop on February 24th, 2024. This upbeat folk-country classic marks the beginning of a year filled with authentic, all-acoustic ‘real music.’

In a musical landscape often dominated by electronic and artificial sounds, Saskia Griffiths-Moore remains steadfast in her commitment to preserving the beauty of live, acoustic performance. ‘Imagination Baby’ was meticulously crafted through live, full takes with a top-tier acoustic band, recorded in the tranquil seclusion of a Polish forest. Saskia’s mission is clear: to ensure that the track sounds identical in both live and recorded versions, underscoring her dedication to the essence of real music.

Next Up: Soon

Title: Gazing From The Bed
Author: SaskiaGM
Rating:   (8.41/10) – 29x rated

Description: Verse 1 G, Bm, C, G,
Gazing from the bed
Sheets around my legs
Sunrise overhead

I wake up like this
Stealing one more kiss
From someone I wont miss

Pre Em, C, G, D
Oh oh, Capture this moment I’ll sneak a photo before I go
Oh oh, you make me delete it, but I wanna keep it so I can show

Chorus C, G, D x2
Oh oh oh a smile
Oh oh oh in time

C B? Bb? Am7 Bb? Am7 G
And even if we don’t remember
Nothing in this worlds forever
You and I can feel the pleasure here

Verse 2
Walking down the road
A face that stops me cold
Memories of old

Blurry history
Falling to my knees
I’m strong and I am weak

Pre
Oh oh, to capture this moment, we take a photo before you go
Oh oh, You look a bit older, I lean on your shoulder so I can show

Chorus

Verse 3
Guess that’s how it goes
You will never know
Who will come and go

Brushing out my hair
No sense to compare
Who we were back then

Pre
Oh oh, to capture this moment I’ll take a photo before I go
Oh oh, no need to delete it, this time l keep it so I can show

Chorus
And even if we don’t remember
Nothing in this worlds forever
You and I can feel the pleasure here
All desire to measure disappears

Good vocal and guitar. Needs more depth of backing

Good beat throughout to play with on this one – makes me think of travelliing throughout the day told in the song.

Great song. Good melody and lyrics. I think it works well with just voice and guitar, but maybe could use some subtle strings here and there.

Really like this song. Have you tried it on piano? With strings and a bass I can hear Adele in there. It shows a different side to your writing, a very cool pop ballad.

Starts superbly. The verses are great. So is the first line of the chorus. The rest is a little anticlimactic to me. Again, I don’t think it needs much accompaniment. Maybe a flute or clarinet in a bridge just before the third verse.

Works really well as is so will be great for live performance. Shows off vocal range well and love the progression at end of chorus. For recording possibly some gentle strings in chorus but for me less is more.

Love this. You make a very intricate melody sound sooo simple. I was engaged from start to finish. It’s a strong song that can have either a simple folk arrangement or even a more contemporary pop production.
