'Soon' Artwork Final

Letter about the final artwork...

Hello lovely backers,

Wow, what a whirlwind it’s been! First and foremost, I wanted to extend a massive thank you to each and every one of you for your enthusiastic participation in the artwork voting process for the track “Soon.” Your engagement and support mean the world to me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for your involvement.

Now, onto some exciting news! We received the music video for “Soon” last night, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely magical. After much deliberation and consideration, we’ve decided to take a slightly different route with the artwork. Instead of using any of the options we voted on, we’ve opted for a still from the video itself.

But fear not, dear backers! Your efforts in voting for the artwork certainly won’t go to waste. We’ve earmarked the winning designs for another track release later this year, so stay tuned for that!

In the meantime, I’m thrilled to announce that the next track is now available for pre-order! You can pre-save it right now by clicking here. Your support means the world to me, and I can’t wait to share more music with you all very soon.

Sending you all heaps of love and gratitude,

Saskia ❤️

P.s. you can attend the London launch of ‘Soon’ on 30th March – last few tickets available here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/saskia-griffiths-moore-soon-single-launch-london-tickets-774297533767?aff=oddtdtcreator

Imagination Baby

Saskia Griffiths-Moore Announces Upcoming Release of New Single, ‘Imagination Baby’ – Coming February 24th, 2024

London, UK – February 24th, 2024 – Folk music sensation Saskia Griffiths-Moore is thrilled to announce the forthcoming release of her latest single, ‘Imagination Baby,’ set to drop on February 24th, 2024. This upbeat folk-country classic marks the beginning of a year filled with authentic, all-acoustic ‘real music.’

In a musical landscape often dominated by electronic and artificial sounds, Saskia Griffiths-Moore remains steadfast in her commitment to preserving the beauty of live, acoustic performance. ‘Imagination Baby’ was meticulously crafted through live, full takes with a top-tier acoustic band, recorded in the tranquil seclusion of a Polish forest. Saskia’s mission is clear: to ensure that the track sounds identical in both live and recorded versions, underscoring her dedication to the essence of real music.

Next Up: Soon

Coming on march 29th! Recorded and filmed at Abbey Road Studios with a choir of Talent Is Timeless members we present the song and music video for ‘Soon’.

Title: Wisdom In My Eyes
Author: SaskiaGM
Rating:   (8.5/10) – 32x rated

Description: V1: G, C, G, Em, C, Em, C, G
How I used to be sweet
I’d always write songs in G
My guitar was always somehow out of tune
I didn’t think that I was any good looking

How I used to be kind
Didn’t see anything as mine
Never once wore make up on my face
Somehow only living by the grace of total strangers

Chorus: D, C, G,
Used to be young
Used to be kind
Used to be a fool
Every single time

Em, D, Em, D, C, G
But I hope
In exchange
For my life
I have gained
A little wisdom in my eyes

V2:
How I used to be naive
Thought that everyone could see
That I wear my heart on my sleeve
For anyone to take a dig at me, anytime

Bridge Am, C, G, D
Ooh just like my banged up old guitar
I’ve mended cracks with care and love
Ooh and though we’re both a little worn
We’re stronger thanks to being torn

V3
Some say kindness makes you weak
They’ll take advantage of the meek
Give an inch and everyone will take a yard
They’ll bleed you dry and leave your heart in shards on the ground

Good vocal and guitar.Might need more instrumentation – strings?

Maybe see this as a closing track on the album, vocal harmonies would work alongside the guitar.

A wistful little song. Didn’t quite make the cut for me as it didn’t quite seem to fit with the the style of what I considered your strongest songs. A lovely song and could easily be included. Can’t quite hear what else you could do with it though.

You know what I love most about this song? It’s you. Your honesty and determination shine through. Doesn’t need anything else. It’s you.x

I can relate to the opening line. Song has good pace and for recording may be upright bass and snare drum played with brushes doing what we drummers call “trains.”

Don’t change that dial. It’s perfect like this. Such a beautiful melody.
‘We’re stronger thanks to being torn ‘ is a brilliant line.
