'Soon' Artwork Final

Letter about the final artwork...

Hello lovely backers,

Wow, what a whirlwind it’s been! First and foremost, I wanted to extend a massive thank you to each and every one of you for your enthusiastic participation in the artwork voting process for the track “Soon.” Your engagement and support mean the world to me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for your involvement.

Now, onto some exciting news! We received the music video for “Soon” last night, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely magical. After much deliberation and consideration, we’ve decided to take a slightly different route with the artwork. Instead of using any of the options we voted on, we’ve opted for a still from the video itself.

But fear not, dear backers! Your efforts in voting for the artwork certainly won’t go to waste. We’ve earmarked the winning designs for another track release later this year, so stay tuned for that!

In the meantime, I’m thrilled to announce that the next track is now available for pre-order! You can pre-save it right now by clicking here. Your support means the world to me, and I can’t wait to share more music with you all very soon.

Sending you all heaps of love and gratitude,

Saskia ❤️

P.s. you can attend the London launch of ‘Soon’ on 30th March – last few tickets available here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/saskia-griffiths-moore-soon-single-launch-london-tickets-774297533767?aff=oddtdtcreator

Imagination Baby

Saskia Griffiths-Moore Announces Upcoming Release of New Single, ‘Imagination Baby’ – Coming February 24th, 2024

London, UK – February 24th, 2024 – Folk music sensation Saskia Griffiths-Moore is thrilled to announce the forthcoming release of her latest single, ‘Imagination Baby,’ set to drop on February 24th, 2024. This upbeat folk-country classic marks the beginning of a year filled with authentic, all-acoustic ‘real music.’

In a musical landscape often dominated by electronic and artificial sounds, Saskia Griffiths-Moore remains steadfast in her commitment to preserving the beauty of live, acoustic performance. ‘Imagination Baby’ was meticulously crafted through live, full takes with a top-tier acoustic band, recorded in the tranquil seclusion of a Polish forest. Saskia’s mission is clear: to ensure that the track sounds identical in both live and recorded versions, underscoring her dedication to the essence of real music.

Next Up: Soon

Coming on march 29th! Recorded and filmed at Abbey Road Studios with a choir of Talent Is Timeless members we present the song and music video for ‘Soon’.

Description: I should be touring round the globe
Headlining the shows
Partying with VIP/ Living like celebrities

But I play in a bar
Sunday lunchtime slot
And everyone talks over me

Pre C G Am C G
And every gig/show I do
I feel like a fool
Why is no-one listening

Coz I got what it takes
Take it/to go all the way
But I compete with TV screens

Chorus F G C Am F G C Am F G C
But/still there is one person singing my lines back
Louder than thousands
/and everyone says that
/of people who tell me
they’re my biggest fan but you are the only stadium I need

Verse: Csomth Amsomth F C G
Years of working hard
Finally pay off
Shower me in luxury

Lights upon a stage
Hear them call my name
Time to give them what they want

Pre C G Am C G
Radio and press
Trying to impress
People I have never met

I see you backstage
Fixing up a drink
You are still my everything

Chorus F G Am C F G C Am F G
Coz there is one person singing my lines back
Louder than thousands
/and everyone says that
/of people who tell me
they’re my biggest fan but you are the only stadium I need

Bridge Am G C Am / C
Bluebird cafe Nashville Tennessee
Green note camden Glastonbury
Billboard chasing down my albums
Louder than Madison’s garden

Chorus F G C Am F G C
Now/you there is one person singing my lines back
Louder than thousands

they’re my biggest fan but you are the only stadium I need

Lovely but finishes a bit suddenly

I could imagine hearing some fx coming through in the background of this one, distant, almost ghostly cheering sounds.

Unusual. Love the chorus. Rest feels a bit thin at the moment. Nothing some instruments can’t resolve.

I’m making assumptions here but I feel like you’re aiming at a certain feel for the album, and while this is a really good song it doesn’t quite make the top 10 for me.

Love the story in this one

An other song I can relate to but for me, although it really is a love song, needs a bit moor anger in the parts relating to down side of gigging and then perhaps a softer touch in the love song parts.

You make storytelling seem effortless.

Love the feel, melody and metaphor. And you voice is gorgeous again. I was a little confused because at the beginning you say you struggled to be heard and compete with screens, but then you jump to say you’ve hit the big time. Maybe the 2nd verse should say ‘When years of working hard …’ . It some how lessens the leap and implies/ maintains your vulnerability. I also feel the ending could be improved if after the ‘you are the only stadium I need’ line you finish with ‘so baby/darling won’t you save my seat’. (or ‘so baby/darling I’ll always save your seat’.
