'Soon' Artwork Final

Letter about the final artwork...

Hello lovely backers,

Wow, what a whirlwind it’s been! First and foremost, I wanted to extend a massive thank you to each and every one of you for your enthusiastic participation in the artwork voting process for the track “Soon.” Your engagement and support mean the world to me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for your involvement.

Now, onto some exciting news! We received the music video for “Soon” last night, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely magical. After much deliberation and consideration, we’ve decided to take a slightly different route with the artwork. Instead of using any of the options we voted on, we’ve opted for a still from the video itself.

But fear not, dear backers! Your efforts in voting for the artwork certainly won’t go to waste. We’ve earmarked the winning designs for another track release later this year, so stay tuned for that!

In the meantime, I’m thrilled to announce that the next track is now available for pre-order! You can pre-save it right now by clicking here. Your support means the world to me, and I can’t wait to share more music with you all very soon.

Sending you all heaps of love and gratitude,

Saskia ❤️

P.s. you can attend the London launch of ‘Soon’ on 30th March – last few tickets available here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/saskia-griffiths-moore-soon-single-launch-london-tickets-774297533767?aff=oddtdtcreator

Imagination Baby

Saskia Griffiths-Moore Announces Upcoming Release of New Single, ‘Imagination Baby’ – Coming February 24th, 2024

London, UK – February 24th, 2024 – Folk music sensation Saskia Griffiths-Moore is thrilled to announce the forthcoming release of her latest single, ‘Imagination Baby,’ set to drop on February 24th, 2024. This upbeat folk-country classic marks the beginning of a year filled with authentic, all-acoustic ‘real music.’

In a musical landscape often dominated by electronic and artificial sounds, Saskia Griffiths-Moore remains steadfast in her commitment to preserving the beauty of live, acoustic performance. ‘Imagination Baby’ was meticulously crafted through live, full takes with a top-tier acoustic band, recorded in the tranquil seclusion of a Polish forest. Saskia’s mission is clear: to ensure that the track sounds identical in both live and recorded versions, underscoring her dedication to the essence of real music.

Next Up: Soon

Coming on march 29th! Recorded and filmed at Abbey Road Studios with a choir of Talent Is Timeless members we present the song and music video for ‘Soon’.

See you on the road?

Title: The Edge

Description: V1
Make no mistake, who will take away your time and your mind?
Who will fight against the day when you pay for your life with your life?

V2
Do you see what I see? Whisky’s closer than me
And I can’t hold your hand you will dance the way you want around your fear of the day when you pay

Chorus
But I don’t want you to go
And I know that I don’t know
The things that you’ve been keeping to yourself, do you want help from the edge? Do you?

V3
Coz it seems that you like being tortured inside
And the pain hides the pain of your self destructive ways
But if you want, life is yours, you can turn this around
I don’t believe in the lie there is no purpose to your life

Chorus
And I don’t want you to go
And I know that I don’t know
The things that you’ve been keeping to yourself, do you want help from the edge? Do you?

Bridge
I believe you’re innocent, just a child who paid a price
For a life you didn’t choose and now your mind isn’t quite right

V4
And if I could love the world I would show up in your life
And tell you that you deserve to rebuild your broken mind

Chorus
Coz I don’t want you to go
And I know that I don’t know
The things that you’ve been keeping to yourself, do you want help from the edge? Do you?

Song a little bit “nothingy”

I like the change of pace in the chorus of this one. In a production version, can definitely make the most of this change of feeling, e.g. possibly adding some reverb on The Edge

Good song. Nice dynamic. Works well with just voice and guitar I think.

Another definite inclusion, gorgeous song. Just your voice and a guitar until the first ‘Do you’ then the band comes in dropping out when you sing ‘From the edge’. The chorus is just so hauntingly beautiful.

Nice, sensitive stuff. Strings? Instrumental solo? I think it needs another element, certainly.

ove the gentleness and the emotiove words

Beautiful and extremely clever and deep. This is very much an acoustic song and needs nothing adding. Having said that as you intend to use a band for the album this song should be kept back for a futur acoustic album. My star rating is given to indicate it’s inclusion/exclusion on your album. For a futur acoustic album I would give it 10 stars.

Wonderful melody and lyric. Engaging from start to finish. Obvious would be strings, but maybe go for something eastern like a sitar.
