'Soon' Artwork Final

Letter about the final artwork...

Hello lovely backers,

Wow, what a whirlwind it’s been! First and foremost, I wanted to extend a massive thank you to each and every one of you for your enthusiastic participation in the artwork voting process for the track “Soon.” Your engagement and support mean the world to me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for your involvement.

Now, onto some exciting news! We received the music video for “Soon” last night, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely magical. After much deliberation and consideration, we’ve decided to take a slightly different route with the artwork. Instead of using any of the options we voted on, we’ve opted for a still from the video itself.

But fear not, dear backers! Your efforts in voting for the artwork certainly won’t go to waste. We’ve earmarked the winning designs for another track release later this year, so stay tuned for that!

In the meantime, I’m thrilled to announce that the next track is now available for pre-order! You can pre-save it right now by clicking here. Your support means the world to me, and I can’t wait to share more music with you all very soon.

Sending you all heaps of love and gratitude,

Saskia ❤️

P.s. you can attend the London launch of ‘Soon’ on 30th March – last few tickets available here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/saskia-griffiths-moore-soon-single-launch-london-tickets-774297533767?aff=oddtdtcreator

Imagination Baby

Saskia Griffiths-Moore Announces Upcoming Release of New Single, ‘Imagination Baby’ – Coming February 24th, 2024

London, UK – February 24th, 2024 – Folk music sensation Saskia Griffiths-Moore is thrilled to announce the forthcoming release of her latest single, ‘Imagination Baby,’ set to drop on February 24th, 2024. This upbeat folk-country classic marks the beginning of a year filled with authentic, all-acoustic ‘real music.’

In a musical landscape often dominated by electronic and artificial sounds, Saskia Griffiths-Moore remains steadfast in her commitment to preserving the beauty of live, acoustic performance. ‘Imagination Baby’ was meticulously crafted through live, full takes with a top-tier acoustic band, recorded in the tranquil seclusion of a Polish forest. Saskia’s mission is clear: to ensure that the track sounds identical in both live and recorded versions, underscoring her dedication to the essence of real music.

Next Up: Soon

Coming on march 29th! Recorded and filmed at Abbey Road Studios with a choir of Talent Is Timeless members we present the song and music video for ‘Soon’.

Absolutely beautiful. I think there’s room for a touch more BVs

Lovely slow lyric, vocals amazing!

Nice – this could suit orchestration as the song builds.

Really lovely song and nice piano led production. I think the guitar needs to be a bit more forward in the mix though – but that’s just my opinion!

Yep, this is it, Saskia. Superbly understated rendition, perfect for the sensitive melody – and I love the predominantly solitary effect. I realise you’re thinking about more backing/accompaniment, etc, but don’t drown out those vocals – or the atmosphere they create. Second bridge at 2:25 would be perfect for more instrumental intervention but keep the vibe much as it is.

Although I think there’s room for a little more backing vocals (third voice??) I think it would be a shame to add much more. Let the song breathe.

Gorgeous. A definite. Doesn’t need much more than what is there. Maybe some strings. Not sure about the acoustic guitar solo. Perhaps a cello or a violin.

This is a beautiful song

Include as is! Beautiful.

Lovely song. Could have string come in part way through and gone before that delicate end. Acoustic guitar solo got lost in thee mix and did little for me. May be strip it down to just piano and bass and save for an acoustic album. Again my star rating is based on inclusion not on song quality.

Your beautiful vocal carries the song. Without which I think the song sits just below a very high bar set by some other songs here. It’s hard not to get lost in your angelic tones, but the devil is in the detail and the detail here I.e the lyric / title for me is not as strong as other contenders.
