  1. Really lovely song and nice piano led production. I think the guitar needs to be a bit more forward in the mix though – but that’s just my opinion!

  2. Yep, this is it, Saskia. Superbly understated rendition, perfect for the sensitive melody – and I love the predominantly solitary effect. I realise you’re thinking about more backing/accompaniment, etc, but don’t drown out those vocals – or the atmosphere they create. Second bridge at 2:25 would be perfect for more instrumental intervention but keep the vibe much as it is.

  3. Although I think there’s room for a little more backing vocals (third voice??) I think it would be a shame to add much more. Let the song breathe.

  4. Gorgeous. A definite. Doesn’t need much more than what is there. Maybe some strings. Not sure about the acoustic guitar solo. Perhaps a cello or a violin.

  5. Lovely song. Could have string come in part way through and gone before that delicate end. Acoustic guitar solo got lost in thee mix and did little for me. May be strip it down to just piano and bass and save for an acoustic album. Again my star rating is based on inclusion not on song quality.

  6. Your beautiful vocal carries the song. Without which I think the song sits just below a very high bar set by some other songs here. It’s hard not to get lost in your angelic tones, but the devil is in the detail and the detail here I.e the lyric / title for me is not as strong as other contenders.
