Swim on the roof
Eat a lot of food
Promises in elevators

It rains in the park
Feed the birds, whole flock
Squirrels chase us helter skelter
To the house we’re taking shelter

Whenever I’m with you I have a good time
Chorus: D, F#m, C, A D
E, G#m, D, B, E, G#m, D, B, E
You have a way of making things right
You take a paintbrush to the sky and change the colours
So that I, can see the light
Your aura shines with magical design
You’re always glowing bright
V3: D,D,D,D, G

Chess with a friend
People came and went
Dashing to the train to get home
By the fire we could write a song

When the world is blue and I am feeling down
I can come to you, to turn my feelings round
Like it, song and rendering
Like this one – has potential as a single. Definitely would work with the full band and a fast pace.
Really like this. The chorus complements the verses very well, even though they are so different. I like the understated dynamism. Maybe stronger instruments could carry the verses along.
If this is given the same instrumentation as Once In A Lifetime it’s another very radio friendly track. Very catchy. Tune sticks in your head.
Great song. Lovely vibe, rhythm and lyrics. One of my favourites so far.
This could handle a bigger arrangement, possibly “Silver” strings with a definite lift in the chorus.
A great song, with many different genre possibilities. It says guitar, bass and percussion accompaniment to me, but I can also hear a trumpet solo playing a verse and chorus in my head.
Love the chorus and very strong lyrically too. I’d go with you on electric guitar on this, maybe a telecaster and see what happens.
